Lagahoo in the Lagoon

In 2020, we kicked off a new animated storytelling series with the spookiest tale ever told by the children on our storytelling caravan! The Lagahoo in the Lagoon is a story written by children of Mayaro during the NGC Children’s Bocas Lit Fest Storytelling Caravan. Every year our Caravan storytellers encourage children to create their own stories based on a suggested title. All the creative ideas from the different storytelling sessions are recorded and published in a book with the children credited as the authors – encouraging our writers of the future!
